Sunburn Festival is set to make its first international appearance in Abu Dhabi in December 2026, marking a historic expansion of Asia’s largest electronic dance music (EDM) brand into the Middle East. Known as one of the world’s top EDM festivals and ranked among the best globally, Sunburn has built its reputation over nearly two decades by hosting major artists and delivering high-energy, large-scale productions in India.
The Abu Dhabi edition will bring Sunburn’s signature immersive music experience to the UAE in collaboration with organisers including BookMyShow and Ethara, placing the capital on the global live-music map and tapping into its growing reputation as a hub for large-scale entertainment. Waiting music fans can expect world-class DJs, elaborate production, and a vibrant atmosphere, with the festival running in parallel with its Indian counterpart, a first in its history.
Sunburn Abu Dhabi 2026 is poised to be a landmark event for the region’s live music scene, blending global EDM culture with Abu Dhabi’s world-class event infrastructure and entertainment ambitions.
