The 2026 UEFA Champions League final is scheduled for Budapest.
The 2026 UEFA Champions League Final is set to take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary. This will be the first time Hungary hosts the final of Europe’s most prestigious club football competition. The Puskás Aréna, named after Hungarian football legend Ferenc Puskás, is a modern stadium with a capacity of over 67,000 seats and has previously hosted major events such as matches during UEFA Euro 2020 and the 2023 UEFA Europa League Final.
The 2025–26 UEFA Champions League Final will conclude the 71st season of the tournament and the 34th since it was rebranded. The winner of the final will earn the right to compete in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup, participate in the 2026 FIFA Intercontinental Cup, and qualify for the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup. The venue was selected by UEFA’s Executive Committee in May 2024 following a competitive bidding process. The 2026 final in Budapest is expected to be a landmark event, combining world-class football with the rich cultural backdrop of the Hungarian capital.
