Al Hosn Festival 2026 is Abu Dhabi’s flagship celebration of Emirati heritage, culture, and creativity, returning to the historic Qasr Al Hosn site from 17 January to 1 February 2026. It’s an annual cultural festival that brings the rich traditions of the UAE to life through a vibrant programme of activities designed for both residents and visitors.
During the festival, the grounds around the oldest standing structure in Abu Dhabi are transformed into an immersive cultural landscape. Attendees can explore traditional Emirati customs, crafts, cuisine, music, and performance art, with hands-on workshops, artisan demonstrations, storytelling, and live entertainment. The event celebrates both tangible and intangible aspects of local heritage, offering insights into the history and evolving cultural identity of Abu Dhabi.
Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, the festival creates a dynamic space where historical traditions meet contemporary expression, making it a meaningful cultural experience for all ages.
