ICC Woman's Cricket World Cup

The 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup, the 13th edition of the tournament, is scheduled to take place in India from August to September 2025. This marks the fourth time India will host the event, following the 1978, 1997, and 2013 editions. The tournament will feature eight teams competing in a total of 31 matches. Qualification is determined through the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship, with the top five teams, excluding the host nation India, earning direct entry. The remaining spots will be filled via the 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Australia, having secured their seventh title in 2022, will enter the tournament as the defending champions. Notably, this will be the last Women's Cricket World Cup to feature eight teams, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced plans to expand the tournament to ten teams in future editions.

In light of recent agreements between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), matches between India and Pakistan during ICC events from 2024 to 2027 are slated to be held at neutral venues. Consequently, if Pakistan qualifies for the 2025 World Cup, any fixture between the two nations will be played outside India.
